777022 2009-05-26 21:24:00 Its supposed to nag you...its a firewall!

777023 2009-05-26 21:29:00 When you allow a program through, have you selected always allow, and selected the approximate action from the drop down box, then put a tick in the box to remember this action (words to that effect).

I have found that once programs are set correctly the firewall wont bother you again with the program until theres been a change - Mostly problems I have seen from customers is they dont use the program correctly - hence the pop ups all the time.

777024 2009-05-27 04:26:00 I agree with Wainuitech,The problem is with the user not the application itself. It gives very little bother if it is used right. kjaada (253)
777025 2009-05-27 04:31:00 Just dont use trojan remover with it lol. Since its got an option so it changes names, you'll be there forever clicking on allow, when you run it (and when you update it) Speedy Gonzales (78)
777026 2009-05-27 08:41:00 It was set to remember the decisions. It would be easier if you could give the firewall permission to allow the program to access the internet or be accessed. You do that & it then asks you permission for every file that initiates the process & that can be everlasting nagging. If you allow the entire program free access in & out, it takes an eternity to process that too.
I've still got it on the work computer. Its fine on the work comp as it is limited to boring work stuff. It's gone from this one now.
After a bit of googling it looks like it's giving other people grief too. I'm giving windows firewall a go, together with the routers firewall it showed no leaks on GRC

I take it you like getting nagged Blam.

I agree, but since my last reinstall of my C Drive image (Acronis) I get a nag screen wanting me to download Comodo Security Suite. I just want to use the firewall.... Any idea where I might turn off the request to download the Security Suite? I didn't get it before. :(
