When you press the on off button, some of the blue lights come on but the screen remains blank, and the hard drive light does not show any activity. What I would like to know is, where is a good sort of place to take it to, to get repaired ? Eg Send it to Compac ?, local computer shop ? (Its about 2 years old) Is it cost effective getting laptops repaired ? I suspect it may be the on off button (as it has always had problems turning off) Is it easy to replace this switch if I bought one ? I am fairly hardware literate ! Regards Digby |
