616417	2007-12-01 19:47:00	Because it isn't a military headquarters . It is the headquarters of the Dept of Defence . Also, it is situated in Virginia - not in the middle of a war zone . It was therefore (and quite reasonably) not considered to be a target . Remember also, that before the 9/11 attacks, nobody had dreamed of airliners being used as missiles and so there were no defence measures against such an eventuality . Not totally so . . . that is a very secure airspace, regulated by the military and a definite "no-fly" zone . The whole perimeter of airspace around it is defended instantly . There are always aircraft . . and have been for as long as I've had my air-nav maps, that are there to challenge and shoot down any aircraft that willfully does not comply . Not squawking is a no-no, and having a heavy at a low altitude in that area would absolutely raise all eyebrows . It could never have gotten into that perimeter . It did . Here's an interesting report that has some insights and some more clutter to the "facts" <I present this as just a talking point, not a testimony> The flight path of the plane approaching the Pentagon remains a controversy for other reasons . [25] While eyewitness reports of some kind of a plane strike at the Pentagon are conclusive,[26] some witnesses are in disagreement over the exact flight path of the plane . [27] Pilots for 9/11 Truth report anomalies in a flight path animation provided by the NTSB which have yet to be conclusively resolved . [28] Nevertheless, Pilots for 9/11 truth admit they have proposed no “theory” for what happened at the Pentagon, and do not claim that “no 757 hit the Pentagon . ”[29] Their official position is that the data provided by the government contradicts their own account of what happened . Official sources have declined to comment on the discrepancies found in the data . [30] Other researchers maintain a more certain position about what happened at the Pentagon based on this and other evidence, [31] while others argue over specific details or perceived anomalies . [32] It is a fact that no witnesses have ever confirmed that a large commercial airliner flew over the Pentagon . Many witnesses described seeing two planes, with the second—not the first flying over the Pentagon . [33] There is widespread doubt that Hanni Hanjour could have flown the plane into the Pentagon, since he was an incompetent pilot and the building was reported to have been struck on the bottom floors without the plane seemingly hitting the ground first . Michael Moore makes the point clearly here: “I don’t think the official investigations have told us the complete truth—they haven’t even told us half of the truth… Let me just give you one thing that I’ve asked for, for a long time . There’s got to be at least 100 video cameras [surrounding] that building, in the trees everywhere . <see my note below> They’ve got that plane coming in at 100 angles . How come we haven’t seen the plane? …If you know anything about flying a plane, if you’re coming in at 500 miles an hour, if you’re off by that much—you’re in the river . To hit a building that’s only five stories high—that expertly… uhh, I believe that there will be answers in that videotape and we should demand that tape . ”[34] In fact, many of these supposed “hijackers” have turned up alive,[35] and as many as five others trained at US army bases suggesting that they were actually US sponsored assets . [36] In any case, how could a supposed amateur who had never flown a real 757 before accomplish such precision flying into the Pentagon? In simulators, members of Pilots for 9/11 truth attempted high speed impacts into the buildings hit on 9/11 and found that they had great difficulty in hitting their targets; most could not hit the buildings until slowing down to landing speeds . [37] Only after many attempts could some of these pilots hit even the World Trade Center at full speed . [38] This has led many to believe that the planes on 9/11 must have been flown by remote control—as seen in actual military war game “live-fly” exercises that were taking place on 9/11 . When you drive by it, there are cameras all over the place, recording license plates, speeds and taking photos of the drivers with a time/date stamp . I have personally seen over 10 of them that are in direct view along the roadway . . I'll try to take some drive-by pixs of them if you like . . . but imagine if this bunch of nutcases has that sort of security devices . . . what type and number of same and better devices does the US GVT have around buildings like the Pentagon? 616418	2007-12-02 13:03:00	Since most people here like to think that 9/11 was NOT and inside job maybe they'd like to explain how WTC 7 collapsed when it wasnt even hit by a plane...(even tho they are designed to withstand such impacts) That molten steel was found under the building..as well as traces of thermite used in controlled demolitions That the manner in which it fell exactly matches that of a controlled demolition That it only had fires on 2 or 3 floors That not before or after 9/11 has any steel building collapsed from fire That the 9/11 commisson report couldnt explain WTC7 's collapse and so could not mention it. That the 9/11 commission wanted to interview bush and cheney separately but that they would not....and would only meet with the commission under their own terms i.e. They appeared together They were not under oath No press or family members were allowed to attend No recording of any kind was allowed No transcript was allowed There are other factors too about coincidental jet excercises etc but if you download the movie (zeitgeistmovie.com) and watch from approx 0.49.00 to 1.00.00 you'll see just about all you'll need to..
