| 617331 | 2007-12-15 21:18:00 | I like this idea. I always remind people to contact me directly when they next need a computer in the e-mails I send, but that's easily forgotten. Something like a fridge magnet would be ideal. I know if I was a consumer buying a PC I'd keep a fridge magnet telling me where to buy more, especially if I was very pleased with the purchase. Until that starts working, I'll stick with Trade Me. I just get annoyed every time I have to top up my account (which is very often!) and feel like there should be a better way to do things... How good an idea is paid search engine optimization? Worth it? Do you advertise on the side of the computers you sell(stickers) |

And you keep using the words me and I. This implies that you ARE a one-man band. We and Our are better words. And FIRM is not a very good word to use in your first line. I have a web site and was thinking about using Google Adwords. But if they keep putting up the prices and people do not get enough value from them, they will not not use them. And seeing how Google make ALL of their money from Ads they had better not price themsleves out of the market ! Kind Regards Digby |

Kind Regards Digby Google would argue that it is the market that sets the prices, as the prices only go up, because your competitors are bidding above you to get a higher ad ranking than you. You can spend as little as 5c per click, but your ad may never appear. Unfortionately US companies get more bang for their buck due to the exchange rate, so can bid higher than NZ companies. Yahoo also do ads but you hardly ever see NZ companies on it, so I think it is more expense than google. |

Thanks, I'll see if I can re-word things better. I am no longer a Yr 13 student too, I've just finished high school :D Plod, no I don't, and it's an excellent idea! Thanks. |
