I just saw one of those on "The Antiques Road Show (www.pbs.org)" when it was aired from Dallas, and that particular bank you have is a national archive from the US. It was estimated it was valued at over $3.5 Million USD. Hope you have it insured and in a safe place. |

I have seen Chinese ones that have been suitably worn and rusted, not to deceive of course, but to give them a pleasing 'patina'. $3.5M sounds a bit on the steep side, even for an authenticated original... now if you want a collectors Felix the Cat money box for around $2.0M just let me know :thumbs: If you buy me you will be required to keep me in the style that I am accustomed to. |
