Sure, I demolished the entire room apart from the wall with the screen but including the ceiling, packed it full of sound-dampening bats, relined it all, Blocked off a couple of doors, Painted her all up sweet as, Fitted a double set of aluminum doors opening onto an entertainment/BBQ area,, replaced the carpet, Mounted framed pictures of crap like race cars,Harleys and boxers, Hung a few heavy metal flags. Put up some shelves to display my rc cars.

Bought 3 lazyboys off Trademe, All in perfect condition, One the size of a throne, sold off speakers and bought a grunty earth shaking home theater system off trademe for peanuts.

I'll see about getting some more pics.....

618299 2007-12-06 11:14:00 It sounds better than Tim "The Toolman" Taylors dream room even...! Chilling_Silence (9)
618300 2007-12-06 15:54:00 Sounds very tasteful.

All it wants now is a muriel on the wall.

618303 2007-12-06 19:54:00 We went to an open home in Dannemora a few months ago. The house was set up with an entertainment room downstairs. Huge screen on the end wall, huge luxury chairs, I think about 9 chairs, but might have been less, the chairs were set up higher towards the back of the room.

Behind the wall with the screen was a small cavity maybe just under a metre wide and the width of the room where all the Entertainment system/home theatre stuff operated from.

Upstairs was a small wireless that seemingly transferred video/audio to the lounge.

Speakers outside by the pool also handled from the entertainment room.

The whole thing looked great to me, someone had gone to a lot of thought and expense setting it all up.

Had it not been a couple of rooms short for our needs I would have loved it. Plans going around in my head to set something like that up in our current house, just have to get money bags wife to agree to it now:-( (Thats the hard part)
