From my experience I would say Infinity. Didn't even know Onkyo made speakers. Thought they just did amps and receivers. I have only ever had Infinity car speakers and they were awesome but my father had a pair of Infinity house speakers that he used for about 20 years. They came from South Africa with us in '86. He has only just replaced them about 3-4 months ago with a pair of Image Loudspeakers, which are just as good if not better and they are made in New Zealand! Anyway, if possible, I would listen to both of them before making a choice. (Playing whatever you are going to want to listen to on them at home and not what the salesperson wants play) |

| 617561 | 2007-12-03 08:19:00 | What sort of budget do you have? Why only these two brands ? If you have a Hi-Fi shop (like Eastern Hi-Fi) in your area go and pay them a visit. Make sure you take some favorite music along.....and listen and listen. |
