| 779006 | 2009-06-02 03:38:00 | I will be getting a graphics card to put with my system (in sig below) and am still not sure of a 4770, 4850 or perhaps something else? Budget is max of $300 (preferably less) What is likely to be the better buy? (in a few weeks time) |

| 779008 | 2009-06-02 03:55:00 | 4770, 4850 or perhaps something else? Budget is max of $300 (preferably less) Graphics cards are the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT component in a gaming system. Not the CPU, not the RAM, not the case, not anything else. Your budget is too small in my opinion but if you insist then the 4850. Take a look at the VGA charts at www.tomshardware.com for performance ranking. Don't skimp. |

| 779009 | 2009-06-02 03:57:00 | Buy the 4850. Its performance is generally on par with the GTS 250 but its cheaper. GTS 250 does run cooler though. The 4850 is only about 5% faster than the 4770, so if the 4850 is much more expensive, then just go for the 4770. Blam |
