| 778821 | 2009-06-01 07:38:00 | Beeps like that usually mean its not detecting the RAM. Remove one of them and see if it still does it. Some of them can be quite fussy as to what RAM is used, Not all RAM will Run in every laptop. Edited: just did a quick check is it DDR2-533 |

Personally I have never taken a battery out when upgrading RAM - but I do take static precautions. First thing to now try, put the laptop back to original using the RAM it did run with. If the Laptop fires up, and runs OK - then its more than likely the wrong type of RAM for that model of Laptop. As I mentioned before - not all laptops will run on any ol RAM- some are "VERY fussy". |
