| 778406 | 2009-05-30 09:31:00 | Hi All, my wifes computer asked her to install service pack 2 I thought I would do a backup and loaded acronis backup which did not run because of operator privilace (she is the administrator) so proceeded to uninstall arronis backup it asked for a reboot to complete the uninstall. Now on reboot the screen with diagnose and repair or boot windows comes up when I choosr diagnose and repair it just flashes back to the boot screen when I choose windows I see what looks like a script running then returns to the boot menu. Any help appreciated |

At the command prompt type in: rstrui and hit enter When system restore pops up restore it back to when it was working. and BTW ADMINISTRATORS have full rights, if it says access is denied etc you just need to run the program as admin. Right Click > Run as Admin:) Blam |
