| 778200 | 2009-06-14 09:11:00 | Well I think that is something wrong with Windows XP: after a while, XP slows itself up, and eventually trip itself over . It is interesting how you have coped with it for soooooooo long . . . It happened to my copy of XP as well, and after EVERY reinstall the problem seems to comes by itself, no matter what . Then I decided I had enough, and migrated to Vista . It's such a stable performer . Oh yes, the simplest answer to your question: cleaning up will speed up your computer, but I never saw a biiiiiiiiiig enough performance improvement on my computer . So reinstalling is probably your best bet (Or opting for Vista if you want better bet :lol: Just kidding! It's your choice, though) . |
