The only things SP1 will add is more Big Brother stuff and maybe a few drivers that should have been there in the first place.

Have you _actually_ bought a PC from Dell before? I had those same impressions when I bought my laptop late last year, and I've been more than happy with it. For the price I paid, specs were better than anything available on the market at the time. Support has been great too - even though you need to ring a call centre in India/Philippines/Malaysia or wherever it is.

ADSL or ADSL2 would be the technology. Broadband is a term for broader band of data which would also cover some satellite and wireless operations.

Xtra is just a company.
