618044 2007-12-05 02:50:00 I certainly haven't suggested anything.
Here's the link:

And if it was already posted I didn't see it.

Its old news. Apple has actually released a firmware update for those users who are affected by the screen freezing problems which should fix it for the majority of users - it's an optional download not available via Software Update. They have also released 10.5.1 which is the first OS update for Leopard which fixes other issues and improves a few other features in Leopard. It was released on the 15th November 2007

618045 2007-12-05 05:55:00 What's your point pctek, the blue screen problem has been discussed here before and is well documented by Apple and it is due to 3rd party software.
It has affected a tiny minority of the people who have installed Leopard and is not an unusual problem when installing a new OS when the recommended procedure is not followed.

All the OS X versions I have seen have the firewall off by default so that is nothing new.

Leopard is working fine for most people and to suggest that there is some sort of major problem is naive and irresponsible on your part considering the amount of experience you have had with OS X
Hmmm. Isn't the point of owning/using a computer (of any flavour) that you can install and use software developed by other than the supplier of the OS??? It's not a closed shop out there.... :2cents:

You are right but the problem was only caused by one particular Application Enhancer program. No problem with anything else.

Not every program works on a new OS as Vista users can testify.
