778902	2009-06-02 22:04:00	Work this out. I deleted the HP directory and removed all HP files I could find. I rebooted the comp with printer still conected and switched on. When the reboot finished I noticed a message, "installind new device" followed by "successful". I have found my printer is correctly identified and is working! Admittedly most of the features and adjustments aren't available, but I can print a "word" document. Which is all I use the printer for anyway. So far the only programme I have that 7 will not load is an old 16 bit game. As I said, generic HP printer driver will be fine!! and come embedded in the o/s driver cache	SolMiester (139)

My experience has been that the installation goes OK, and the printer appears to function corrrectly, but after some unknown time and for some unknown reason, it fails. If I try to print, the document appears in the print queue, but has an "error-printing" message. If I remove the printer and re-install, the cycle starts again. As I said in an earlier post, HP tell me that the 64-bit Win7 drivers are expected any day now, so it is just a matter of keep checking the HP website.	Tony (4941)
