617489 2007-12-03 00:56:00 It's leading up to Christmas, and a lot of you might be doing your online shopping around now. This post aims to warn you of online fraudsters, one in particular, that have already scammed a lot of people in NZ.

As per This Thread, (pressf1.co.nz) about Hicom Ltd.
This seller has scammed a number of people, mostly through selling computer related equipment. Email addresses to look out for are: hicomp_sales@hotmail.com and hicomp@hotmail.com. He has operated under several names, known to us are: Wan Bao Ang, Steven, Eugene and Philip.

I was requested to do this by a PF1 member, and it's a good idea. I also encourage anyone with similar stories to let me know, together we should be able to sort out the good from the bad.

617491 2007-12-03 02:15:00 I got 3 emails from an eBay member, giving an auction number and 'please reply to [email address]'. I ignored him, and took a quick look at the auction, he was selling 2 HP monitors.

Thing is, I'm not an eBay member.

617494 2007-12-04 09:14:00 ****ing farasha, sharaz and someone else.

Horrible to deal with. If they actually send the product and it works, your all good, But God help you if you need to return something, or they 'forget' to send something.

He speaks about 3 words of English, and two of them are F*ck off.

617495 2007-12-04 09:26:00 Just look at his feedback and you'll see why not to buy from him. george12 (7)

617498 2007-12-05 00:50:00 Add Next Electronics to the list, theyre a bunch of ripoffs.

If you want something fixed, dont take it to these guys.

I took my TV in for them to fix it, it came out worse, after they had fixed it.

It cost me $350 to fix it, it went back 3 times, because it kept shutting itself off.

They tried to argue, it didnt turn off. They may have left on it, but they werent actually watching it, to see WHEN it turned off.

They ASSUMED it was OK. It wasnt. If it was OK, I wouldnt have sent it back 3 times in a row, for them to fix it properly.

Not only did it shut itself off, the PIP that was working BEFORE they fixed it, no longer works.

It goes for about 2 mins, then it goes totally black.
