| 619477 | 2007-12-09 10:16:00 | Dear all, Thank you very much for nominating deserving members in the nomination thread (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz). After taking into account the nominations that have been thrown in in the past few days, I have compiled the finalists and it is up to you who should get the annual award. Rules and Regulations: 1) Members joining after 10th December 2007 (Monday) 12:00am will not be allowed to vote. In order to enforce this, this poll has been made a public one so that I can check who have voted. 2) Each member can only vote for one of the finalists. 3) Voting closes on 23rd December 2007. 4) Finalists themselves are allowed to vote for themselves or others. The finalists are allowed to post messages in this thread on why the members should vote for them. Cheers :) P.S. Please stickify this thread, thanks! :D |

This is just an annual recognition of a member who should really be congratulated and given a pat on the shoulder. In organising this award, I have no intention of creating status disparity between members. :) Cheers :) |

| 619482 | 2007-12-09 22:08:00 | I find it impossible to separate Speedy & Wainuitech in my mind - for their patience & stickability when it comes to solving someone's tricky & time-consuming problem. They are both gems. But as I can vote only once, I'm choosing Wainuitech because Speedy won it last year. That may not be the best way to choose, but it's the best I can think of. |

Exactly my thoughts as well, Laura. |

| 619485 | 2007-12-10 02:37:00 | Remember, its only for 1 year... 2008 is another year ;) Thats not to say that just because you dont win you arent a valued member of PF1, quite the opposite in fact.. rather that there is somebody else who has assisted in some other specific way be it by post-count or specific knowledge, or simply making your stay more enjoyable here at PF1. Remember, this is NOT a life or death situation people ;) |
