779403 2009-06-03 06:55:00 I made a font using BitfontMaker (www.pentacom.jp). I found out how to intall it onto my computer, but not the font will not display at all on my computer. I am not sure if it's Vista and maybe it being unable to display .ttf files. I don't know. Please help. It took a long time to make my font and I just want to use it! Sinew (14971)

779406 2009-06-03 07:48:00 What folder have you placed this font into, and what was your technique for 'installing' it?

TTF fonts should have a universal acceptance.
Built a font myself some time ago.

779409 2009-06-03 18:28:00 so basically i can select the font i made, use it, but nothing shows up

779410 2009-06-03 22:50:00 Well, I have no experience with Vista or Win 7 regarding fonts. It seems there is more flexibility regarding the folders than with previous versions of Windows (but a series of steps to get the folder recognised).

The guy who wrote the article you linked to above has answered a lot of other people with the same issues, plus there's others posting solutions they have found. Have you tried reading all the way through their comments?

For some people the answer was as simple as right-clicking the font, and selecting Install. Others have had to negotiate through a bunch of Windows hoops and traps.
