| 620941 | 2007-12-14 08:32:00 | Im sure I read a few years ago that Telecom spent 8 million on the system that sent a text to your mobile whenever someone sent you an email. It seemed to disapear after a few months. No surprise, Just a total crap idea. 8 million. They could have given every internet user in NZ at the time free ADSL for a year for 8 million. And how can Ferrit be so craptastic, after all the money they have spent on it, Its useless in every way. They should can it and start over. Even the TV advertising is just pathetic. |

Yeah, what marketing genius came up with the idea to use a creepy guy who is doing his best to give the impression that you really don't want to look at what he's got in his basement as their front person. Is anyone other than serial killers or sexual predators likely to identify with this guy? |

They probably should have tried to compete with TM, as they had the customer base, and the Xtra website used to be the most popular website in NZ a few years ago. Unfortionately they dropped the ball. This is Telecom we're talking about? I wouldn't say they dropped the ball, they specialise in the art of the balls-up. |
