2007-12-09 21:38:00 | So what was wrong with it? How did you fix it?

2007-12-09 21:42:00 | If you duck over to PressF1 - chris posted the same message and answer there as well, maybe the two can be combined it the one post ? UPDATE: No sooner do I finish typing than he's done it. This is the first time in four years - since a misguided attempt to hook-up with a satellite-based atomic clock - that your favourite forum has not being running 52 minutes in the future. Within just 48 months, we've solved one of your key F1 complaints.

2007-12-09 21:57:00 | A loud cheer has just echoed around the hills of north Dunedin. | Laura (43) | |
2007-12-09 22:32:00 | Not too sure why it was constantly off, personally I dont really care too much why it was either now that its (hopefully - permanently) fixed. Have ntpd installed / running, so it should keep everything in check for the rest of its lifespan :) Now, what were the other 2 wishes? ;) Whats a bet come daylight savings, something will go horribly wrong :p

2007-12-09 22:37:00 | How did you fix it? I saw him plug a cable directly from his neck, into our servers. Then he sat down and meditated for a minute and, presto, the clock was fixed.

2007-12-09 22:40:00 | Whats a bet come daylight savings, something will go horribly wrong :pYou'd be right, 'cause they never installed the updated tzdata - they just left us to complain for a week... | Erayd (23) | |
2007-12-09 22:43:00 | At last . Thank you . I was in the server room with Chilling when he worked his miracles . You wanted to keep an eye on him because you didn't trust him? Or maybe you wanted to extract his secret fix for yourself? Or perhaps he needed protection from the monsters that guard the server room from unauthorised trespassers (the reason Bruce was never game to venture there)? PS: Good to see that Chill is not just a pretty face . ;) :D

2007-12-09 22:59:00 | Actually I had two armed bodyguards in there with me the whole time to make sure I didn't do anything dodgy... Id be keen to go back into the server room some time, they have Beer! :D | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
