| 619295 | 2007-12-09 19:01:00 | but those controversial threads like global warming and conspiracy theories are always going to be warzones, online and in real life True and all well and good. But if you go into a thread like that you're signing up for it. If you go into a thread about buying a fluffy kitten for Christmas, you don't expect to have the sales figures of the Apple iKitten shoved down your throat. |

| 619297 | 2007-12-10 00:23:00 | God, I can't believe people get this worked up over posts in a forum! You don't have to read each and every thread . You don't even have to come back and read the rest of a thread you started reading . Nor do you have to care about whats in a thread . This is a forum, not your next door neighbour . Everyone calm down and go read one of the threads more to their liking . . . . . . . . . I am with you on this PC,over sensitivity to a fault . |

| 619302 | 2007-12-10 05:22:00 | :lol:You see, the ancient Greeks, Sir, wrote in legend of a terrible container in which all the evils of the world were trapped. How prophetic they were. All they got wrong was the name. They called it "Pandora's Box," when, of course, they meant "Baldrick's Trousers." We are told that, when the box was opened, the whole world turned to darkness because of Pandora's fatal curiousity. I charge you now, Baldrick: for the good of all mankind, never allow curiosity to lead you to open your trousers. Nothing of interest lies therein. |
