622399 2007-12-18 08:29:00 Ok... time to start helping for the 2011 World Rugby Cup and think up who would be able to cough up $29M to have the naming rights for Eden Park..

I know I am in Hawkes Bay, but we have a branch of a fine company here that would fit the bill.

How about "Waste Management Park"

Any other ideas?

Ken ;)

This is just one more illustration that the country and its institutions are run by people that know the price of everything and the value of nothing

622404 2007-12-18 10:22:00 Because we are all spending money on the stadium (via the Government), will that mean that the whole of NZ are now shareholders in the stadium. We are still paying for our Wellington stadium in our rates, so are effectively paying for two stadiums. robbyp (2751)
622405 2007-12-18 11:05:00 Cadbury could call it the Jaffa stadium. :)

622407 2007-12-18 17:38:00 I really should start to worry about the occasional Rugby work site, but I am too busy with the tsunami watch on my goldfish bowl. R2x1 (4628)
