2007-12-14 22:09:00 Is a 0.25X macro lens stronger, or a 0.42X lens? tarynpenny (13157)
2007-12-14 22:12:00 (by the way, macro/fish eye lenses) tarynpenny (13157)
2007-12-15 00:47:00 Well.....I'm only used to thinkiing of fisheye lenses in millimetre sizes in which case 24mm, 18mm are getting wide.

Are you sure you don't mean microscope?

2007-12-15 02:09:00 A macro (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macro_photography) lens gives an image on the "film" which is close to the size of the object. If you are comparing "0.25X" and "0.42X" lenses, the 0.42X would give a larger image, therefore it would be "stronger". Either way, the fish must be fairly shortsighted. ;) Graham L (2)
