2009-06-06 12:28:00 | I'd rather upgrade the CPU/GFX card/HDD than swap cases every few months... BTW you know how the front fan uses HDD power as its power source, well how do I control the speed of it since it doesn't use the standard 4 pin plug...:p

2009-06-06 12:31:00 | There's an adapter for it - from 4pin to 3pin. I think a lot of shops sell those for less than $7. I would send one to you but I can't find the one I bought a year ago. But really, you don't want to lower the rpm of that fan anymore than needed - that thing already runs at a mere 1200rpm and is quiet and provides some decent airflow into the case. Oh and yeah, I would rather upgrade the CPU/GFX etc too....but my wishlist only consists of Q9550 and 4870x2.....both of which far exceeds my budget!

2009-06-06 12:35:00 | Why not just add a 4870, must you get a 4870x2? The front fan is NOT quiet! The system I built for my sister is quiet:p I can't think with it on lol:p Even the Antec 900 I had was quieter. Gonna grab an adapter this weekend, thanks for that:) Looked on TM...nothing:(, would you mind posting a link? Blam

2009-06-06 12:37:00 | Eeeerrr....I think you're mistaking it for the green LED fan behind the door - now THAT thing runs at 2000rpm, and it is connected to the fan controller. Or did I give you the wrong fan?? I can send you one that only spins at 1100rpm if you want? It's got green LEDs. And why not just add another 4870? You keen on donating $330??? :p

2009-06-06 12:41:00 | Thats always been the fan I've been talking about, the green LED one at the front..(it uses 4 pin molex) I think you gave me the wrong fan!!:p

2009-06-06 12:43:00 | Oh, damn it, wrong fan huh. Well as I said I can send you the 1100rpm one or if you want to buy that adapter so you can control the speed? Tell me what you'd like. | qazwsxokmijn (102) | |
2009-06-06 12:46:00 | 1100rpm fan please:) Do you want this wrong fan back? I have no need for it:p

2009-06-06 13:10:00 | Damn....turns out the 1100rpm one is actually 4pin molex as well. Tell you what, I'll give you my Xigmatek fan. It's worth more but it was my mistake and I have no cheaper replacement (I've got a blue LED SilenX, but you'll have to kill me first for that). It runs at 1500rpm but it's got the 3pin head so you can hook it to the controller. PM me your address and I'll send it on Monday or Tuesday, depending on which day I study the hardest - just to give me an excuse to go out into the damn sun.

2009-06-06 21:00:00 | Don't go for the Antec if your budget is around 200. The Antec 900 or the CM Storm is much better in all regards, cooling, features etc ??? don't go for the antec but the antec and the storm is much better in all regards???? I was reading this review online and the thermaltake one is mad out of flimsy plastic......but the Big fan...it is sooo sexy n hard to resist at that price....

2009-06-06 21:01:00 | Looking for a case? I'm currently looking to change to a SilverStone TJ09, actually, and when that happens my Antec P182 would be up for grabs. I also had the side panel modded by ComputerLounge to have a side window. They told me the window is bullet proof too. New they are $270 and the window mod cost me a further $100, but I'll let you have it for $215? What do you say? put a photo up and let us have a look first :D
