And when you have to point out the successful cases - then your system or method is in need of review. I just got off the phone with the Cash back people " 38 mins on hold " I asked what the company was- "HP Australia" she replied. So looks like they are processing the cash backs for HP New Zealand. I was told my claim was approved on the 21st November. She then stated from their terms and conditions which I have read " expect up to 75 days for your cash back to go through." My argument is, if it has been approved. How can a payment take 75 days and why should it. I can process and online deposit from my NZ bank account and have it appear in my Aussie one in 3 days. Think of the poor people that purchased a printer with a $30 cash back deal. |

| 621510 | 2009-01-27 01:28:00 | cash back on laptops? is it just plain we hope the customers forget to apply for refund Why cant the retailer (the bigger ones) just get $100 off replacement stock so the customer gets the $100 cheaper item when they make their purchase? Yes I agree. They make it as difficult as possible. And us retailers should just get it cheaper to pass that on. Bugger size - if they can afford to make $100 less than retailers shop size shouldn't make a difference. I don't advertise it. If the customer wants to go through the hassle they are welcome but they make the purchase decision based on the +$100 price not -$100. And its not just the crap Acers, others do it too. |
