What would you do if you're the boy or boy's parents?

622286 2007-12-18 03:10:00 What's wrong with that? Most schools and workplaces prohibit the use of non-authorised software on their computers. More importantly, when the student is bringing the software from home (I assume it's on a flash drive - i.e. PortableFirefox), there are virus/security risks etc. involved.

For instance, my workplace strictly prohibits the use of any software application which hasn't been thoroughly tested by the IT team, and as part of our employment contracts we must abide by these rules.

622291 2007-12-19 03:37:00 One of my friends at school has a copy of Linux on his flash drive. Boot from it, and the school can't track you. :D pcuser42 (130)
