| 622076 | 2007-12-17 21:52:00 | Hi I've asked this question before but this is a little bit different. I've been using week killer stuff with glyphosate as ingredients and it works very well. The weed killing stuff requires you to spray it on the weed / leaves ...etc. So I would like to know whether the same stuff would work for preventing weeds coming up? Like between paving stones which at this moment have no weeds. Do I need to look for something different ? Thanks in advance |

Trouble is with things that prevent growth is that they can be pretty darned toxic. Getting rid of it was a problem when I realised how bad it was. The remainder of the packet was considered so bad by the toxic substances people, that I got a home call by them to take it away. My Dad used to get sacks of common rock salt from somewhere and used it to control weeds in a long driveway with seashells used as a driving surface. Worked really good and is non toxic. Ken |
