| 621000 | 2007-12-13 23:40:00 | Hi everyone, I've recently bought an ASUS laptop (Z53Sseries) with Vista Business preloaded on it . Laptop has: CPU: Duo T7300, 2GB of memory, 802 . 11abgn+BT wireless modem . I'm having problems trying to connect my ASUS laptop to my wireless router (D-Link DSL-G604T) . The wireless router is connected to the main computer via ethernet cable . What's strange is my friend's laptop, which has Windows XP Pro and wireless modem has no problem in picking up my wireless router, and use the internet . Not so with my Vista laptop . This error message came up: "The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the reqirements of the network . " Help! |

| 621001 | 2007-12-14 07:16:00 | Sound like you have connected to an un secure network then made the network secure. You will need to reestablish the connection using whatever WEP key you chose - the original connection you setup on the laptop will not work. | 621002 | 2007-12-29 11:38:00 | Still stuck. After trying all sorts of things the laptop can now see the wireless router and thus the network, but, it cannot coonect.
