Labour in all their wonderfulness has decided that in election year, they are going to be handing out tax cuts [i.e. paying off the idiot voters who fall for the gimmick so that they can be re-elected] Personally, I would like to see the money go into [especially] the health sector.. get things back to how they should be - so that people like me who would like to see a specialist, don't receive a letter saying 'sorry, we can't promise you will be seen in the next 6 months, so we cannot put you on the waiting list. Please see your doctor and try again". </rant-from-ex-Labour-supporter> Whats your views on this? |

Rather than throw money at something thats really not going to improve the long term survival of this country, why not throw it at the newly graduated... lawyers/doctors/other specialists who depart our shores to pay their loans? and subsequently stay there. |

Selfishly, I would like to see more money going into the health sector too. There are a lot of people, including me, whose lives could be changed dramatically for the better if more money was made available. Or even better, they could do both (cut taxes and have more money for health) if they didn't waste millions fixing up tossers who blow themselves up with their P labs and the like. :mad: :mad: :mad: |

| 622459 | 2007-12-18 19:35:00 | I chose "Undecided" With this devious pack of bas...ds who are in charge of us at this point, there are probably a bucket full of fish hooks with every dollar... ie - a possible scenario... if you are on $150,000 or better you might get the $15 (estimated). Then it possibly would drop by $1 per $5,000 of income. Not that any of the other shambles would do anything different. Ken |
