| 781186 | 2009-06-10 09:10:00 | At work there is a network of various Vista and XP machines with access to a server (F drive). I need to hide one folder containing staff sensitive documents (or password protect it). Is there any easy way to achieve this? | BigBadBob (14963) | ||

Real servers generally need to be logged into - if its running real server software, each folder can have the permissions set for each user - if they are not permitted to open a certain folder, while they can see it, it wont let them in or it can be set so only certain people have access. PS: all the vista commands to take ownership wont do anything. |
