| 780869 | 2009-06-09 09:14:00 | On bootup my PC seems to want a password - yet I've never had a password nor encountered this issue before. I can't get windows to boot so I can't access the START menu. Even if I press ENTER without any pwd entered it still asks whether I've forgotten it. How on earth do i get around this stupid XP feature & log on? I'm running the latest dual core PC with all the bells & whistles.... This is the same PC as my last question - the one that the DVD drive kept opening. Although I followed all the advice given on this site - it still seems to be intermitent - running well at times & opening constantly at other times... Thank you to all trying to help - your suggestions are MUCH APPRECIATED. |
