| 623313 | 2007-12-21 12:54:00 | Is the phone new or a import.? We recently had a new phone hold the charge for only 18 hours. Fault traced back to the PCB board. When metered across the battery contacts with the phone turned off, draining excess power. Of course this is stabbing in the dark here but since you have tried another battery, could be something like above, all it takes is a dry solder joint, poor connection, board fault, etc to start draining the power. A cellphone repair shop could look at it and give you a report, would probably cost $30 or 40 for the report but then you know if it is repairable or not. |
