622959 2007-12-19 21:45:00 Depends what it is is (intern / country code) to dial from US to here.

Then it'll be your mobile #

That link makes out that the "+" code dialling is something new and won't work with texts. Not sure if that is a Telecom restriction, but I have always used the international numbers on my Vodafone mobile - even for local numbers (ie I always load them to my phonebook as +649 for Auckland or +6421 for NZ Vodafone). This means I never have to worry about knowing international access codes if I'm overseas. And I send lots of texts internationally using these numbers.

622962 2007-12-19 22:29:00 Telecom or Vodafone codes will mean nothing to aidanmaz's relatives in the US.
They have to dial their international toll access then country code 64 (NZ) then his phone number. They possibly could have different toll access codes for landline and cellphone or even a choice of calling card numbers for voice calls.

622963 2007-12-20 03:54:00 Just to sum up what Paul had said, it would be:

006421xxxxxxx

00 = International code
64 = New Zealand code
21 = Vodafone (the prefix "0" is omitted)

Followed by the number

Cheers :)

Not from the US it won't be.. Just give them +6421XXXXXXX . They should be smart enought to know what the international access code is..
