| 781210 | 2009-06-10 12:50:00 | Just a CAT5 patch cable will be fine. No need to spend the extra for CAT6 and a crossover is for connecting two routers or two computers without a router/switch. |

| 781214 | 2009-06-10 21:55:00 | You give the Xbox an IP. It doesnt have one (until you give it one). Turn the Xbox on, then go to My Xbox -> system settings -> network settings -> configure network -> ip settings -> manual, give it an IP then click on DONE (make sure the ip is within the router's IP range), then click on subnet, type this in then DONE. Then type in the gateway (the router's IP address). Log into the router, and look for DMZ (if the option is in the router, it'll let whatever IP thats added to it), to bypass everything, so it'll be easier to work. Instead of trying to add heaps of ports (that you probably dont know anyway). So the Xbox will connect to the internet. Then test it by clicking on test Xbox Live connection. If it works you've done it properly |

| 781217 | 2009-06-10 22:24:00 | It may tell you in the router what the ip range is. Or read the manual for it. Whats the model of your Belkin? No the IP isnt the subnet. The subnet maybe 255.0.0.0 (which is what I've put on mine). | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
