781946 2009-06-13 06:38:00 At what point does it reboot?

Can you tap F8 then select "Disable Automatic Restart" it may be a BSOD.

Have you tried safe mode and last known config?

781948 2009-06-13 06:49:00 Could be overheating, ensure that all fans are working and that the fans and ducts are clean of dust/dirt. stormdragon (6013)
781949 2009-06-13 06:53:00 See if you can hit F1 and access the BIOS.

Its most probably overheating, open the up the side of the case and make sure the heatsink has no dust clogging it and is on tightly.

781950 2009-06-13 06:54:00 yer did check there was a bit of dust on ducts but now clean , fan starts up with PC then dies . Its cool now as ive had power cord out for 10minutes and still does the same powering on and off dgoddard (8993)
781951 2009-06-13 06:56:00 Don't forget to check the heatsinks as well.

Try disconnecting the power to the hard drive, cd drive, (floppy?) and see if it will stay alive.

781952 2009-06-13 07:00:00 ok help what does a heatsink look like? dgoddard (8993)
781953 2009-06-13 07:00:00 In that case I would try another PSU. Sounds like its about to die.

Heatsink it a big thing sticking out the motherboard with a fan on it
