781548 2009-06-11 23:25:00 I have Asus N50V laptop which operated by Window Vista Ultimate, the window shuts down is very slow, it just keeps freezing in logging it off. Any ideas how to fix ? Thanks so much daywalker (14848)
781549 2009-06-12 00:26:00 eventvwr.msc>Applications and Services Logs>Microsoft>Windows>Diagnostics-Performance>Operational

Look for events in the Shutdown Performance Monitoring category.

Each event should tell you how long it takes.

781550 2009-06-12 01:19:00 Sounds like you have a program that refuses to shutdown......something that starts with windows perhaps? SolMiester (139)

781554 2009-06-12 03:57:00 Look for events with critical or warning in the shutdown category.

Example:
www.imagef1.net.nz

If its takes a long time, then its the app causing this.
