625295 2008-01-05 20:47:00 I bet that if SOMEBODY shows up at "X" park with a case of beer and a few BBQs, and announces the time and date....everyone else will FIND them!

PS: That's the ROYAL "SOMEBODY", not any one person with such a moniker in mind.:D

It'd be a bit of a long trip for me to get there - 658km (or 409 miles), so I'll be giving it a miss...

625296 2008-01-05 20:56:00 Just announce a place and a date, If no one turns up, so be it, Not enough interest, Sink a couple beers and have a piece of steak on bread while you wait. Metla (12)
625297 2008-01-05 22:30:00 While I was in high school . . . I worked in one of the first Sizzler restaurants in Southern California .

We had three steaks . . . the New York, The Sirloin and (insert company logo here) The Sizzler .

People would line up at the doors (queue?) for hours before the place opened . The owner (CW Smalley) said: "People will drive miles for a cheap steak" .

I wonder what he'd say about NZers NOT driving for a free steak?
