625277 2008-01-01 04:46:00 Never. Geetars are for country western, Axes are for heavy metal, guitar is for classical and gats are for rockers. Take your pick!

Isnt julian a jazz guy? I think he's an influence for Ronnie Jordan, but Im not up there with Jazz. Too far out for me.

625278 2008-01-04 01:18:00 The original post was a great idea, but has been hijacked by a lot of people who were not being addressed.
Can we now restrict this topic to people living in Auckland (and loving it!).
I would be a starter if a suitable time and date was arranged.

Could I suggest you use the google feature on what I take is a computer!

625280 2008-01-04 03:15:00 All right, since there are folks out there in favour of this idea, this post would further extend the idea so that it can approach the reality. A few things that I am interested to know:

1) Suggestions of eatery places (Auckland CBD preferred?)
2) Times and Days you are available
3) Budget of spending

If we can decide on a location and time, I am going to make a list of members who can make it. After that, I will PM it to those who have agreed to come. If you see someone that you dislike has agreed to come, you can choose to opt out.

Cheers :)

625281 2008-01-04 03:18:00 Just crank up a BBQ at someones place or at a local hotspot.

Budget is whatever you bring to chuck on the BBQ.

Make it a Saturday,4pm start, 6.30Pm finish.

Make sure someone brings a bat and ball....for the kids....:D

Easy easy easy.

Make sure someone brings a bat and ball . . . . for the kids . . . . :D

Easy easy easy .

It's summer-ish there . . right?

Find a park or local playground, set up a few BBQs and make it a BYODA and BYOB .

Pot-luck is kinda fun and I just know that someone will make the linguine and clams with lots of garlic since I cannot get there on such short notice .

I'd prolly have hard time getting them thru customs anyway .

Metla's idea is a good one . . . . hopefully he won't give my cold beer away .
