625105 2007-12-28 09:48:00 Glue a big cardboard sign covering the whole screen saying "This is what pay TV has done to free to air TV ----- not worth watching!!!!"

can you feed Video out on to a smaller 4" screen. oh man I have to get into my pills again.

I bought this TV from Trade me .

I heard the working one cost more than $4000 .

The reason why i brought it because i just want to hang on the wall for poster, etc . But i believe $81 . 00 is a reasonble price even though it doesn't work . But as you see the link the menu set and sound is working in good order . Which means i could plug a DVD player and listen to music from the lcd,etc .

Do you think it's possible to get fixed?

Don't think me as a retard .

Peace babe:waughh:

If you had studied the action, and the seller's refusal to comment on repair costs, you might have been smart enough to realise that the seller has already looked into repair costs and found them to be not worth it . I can't believe anyone would have bought this crap .

625107 2007-12-29 07:24:00 Some people buy broken TV's - others buy Vista .

Neither act is classed as an offense, or likely to gain a Nobel Prize

Some even buy a Vodem, and the jury is out on that one . :help:

The TV is sold as having a 'cracked' screen, so it was defective, and wouldn't have been repairable . Spending $80 on a piece of broken junk, well I don't know anyone who would waste their money on that, unless they were buying it for parts or the remote .

625109 2007-12-29 08:36:00 Hey mate. If you seriously don't want it. I will genuinely take it. $81.
The store I work for as far as I know, still sells TV brackets and having a large TV like this is a proof in the pudding of the size they can take.

625110 2007-12-29 09:23:00 Hmmmmmmm:rolleyes: Thats actually what I tell people to do if the PC blows up out of warranty - some do and it works ;)

It works most the time, but there was one time that the insurance company asked us if it was the result of an accident or it just failed. I can't remember if they paid out or not.

Can't hurt to try it

The word fraud comes to mind, which is a criminal offense.
