2007-12-24 05:04:00 | We considered wrapping outselves up in bubble wrap on sunday, and strapping ourselves into bed. :o Just when i thought i'd been round the block atleast 4 times and tried it all, i come to PF1 and get something new for my to-do list..... Maybe next lifetime :D | personthingy (1670) | |
2007-12-24 05:05:00 | Something really hideous happened a couple of weeks ago which I won't mention. Then, our neighbour had a 45' Macrocarpa pole blocking our sunshine. She said she was getting in a man to cut it down, we said we'd do it. It was agreed it would come down anyway. So this weekend while she went away we told her we'd do the tree. Husband fell out from 20' up - luckily he seems to have more lives than a cat and didn't kill himself on the corrugated iron fence directly under it. Got a friend to help then and down it came. Neighbour arrives home and decides shes pissed off about it for some reason. We had cleaned up all the branches and left her the main tree for firewood. Then today I check up on a finance doc I'd couriered off Sunday before last - no money has arrived yet - Courierpost tell me it hasn't even gone into the system and therefore was not collected. Ring the local Post Depot owner in Wyndham, who has an attitude problem. He denies taking it, refuses to even look for it. I've had to get another contract and now have to try and find the customer to sign them all over again. Friend was in just before and tells me shes gone on holiday. Great. Next? A mistake right from the word go.

No because we'd be waiting until we died of old age for her "man", and also husband was supposed to be waiting for the guy who was assisting to come round, not getting up there himself without safety gear and a tendency to hypoglycemia. |

2007-12-24 07:43:00 | Something really hideous happened a couple of weeks ago which I won't mention. Is Vista not working out too well then ? Sorry, I hope things are on the improve now. Personally I intend to start getting smashing at about 2 am Xmas day and wind up getting plastered by 9 or 10 am. Very fortunately only half the back porch floor will be accessible so the job is cut in half. (Breaking up and replacing a concrete floor was not the way I visualised spending xmas, but needs must when the devil drives.)

2007-12-24 07:57:00 | Why only four days off Bob? You still doing extra work for the family outside your regular job? Just guessing, I suppose. Of course, I forget that I get days off  And I forgot about the time I went to Armageddon. I don't take much in the way of holidays, since the last proper one with the family was in 1990. :xmouth:
