624085	2007-12-23 20:18:00	Well done Wainuitech. :) It is great how many of the members who are also professional computer technicians give their time freely to help as well as the "non-professionals" who spend so much time trying to help others. It can be a thankless task at times. All the members who also contribute to PressF1 in various different ways, should also give themselves a pat on the back for helping make PF1 such a great community. :)	Jen (38)

624090	2007-12-24 02:39:00	Hey people thanks for all the congrats on getting the nominations in this PF1 User of the year award . :blush: To be honest I’m actually a bit shocked . :eek: I have only joined the forum a short while ago compared to many others, but even right from the first week it was obvious that this place IS the place to be and get answers and help other people . The fowl language that some forums allow simply make it unpleasant . Many others always put forward brilliant suggestions, and apart from the odd idiot trying to spam the place the forum is very well run . Well done to the moderators for “keeping the piece” so to speak . In the short time I have been here I have learnt lots from others, as we are all learning all the time . When this nomination post first appeared I thought – yeah right Speedy is a sure foot in, he’s always helpful, and lives up to his name, then I saw my login a few times and thought - NO WAY – I come here to try to help others and learn something’s in the process . To Quote from Jamuz’s Speech I am aware that some members of the community perceive this award "as a form of competition to define status hierarchy" As far as I’, concerned I’m here to help if I can, I enjoy doing it . EVERY ONE who helps people here, gives up their time and skill all deserve to be recognized . It s a great forum and I hope it always stays this way . Now I might even install Vista on my Media PC and can sit on the couch and talk to the damn thing with its voice recognition software . Lastly Jamuz ( and helpers) a very well written speech . You may unpin it after a week or so) Yes jamuz, twice actually, just to make sure I understood all the good comments to every one that you made . right from (Result ------ to ------Cheers :) One part in particular has been commented on by several people in my PM's over the last few weeks, not the exact same words but the meanings the same. PressF1 means a lot to some of us, and that includes me as well. We begin to feel like a very large family here AND thats why I said I was a bit shocked at getting the votes I did - only been here a short while. So once a again - with feeling - :thumbs: Well Written Hey at least it didn't put any one to sleep as far as I know. :D	wainuitech (129)
