| 623889 | 2007-12-23 17:56:00 | Just cruizin' with G-Earth this AM and I see a lot of really nicely well laid out land for what I assume is farming just toward that river South and West of Southbridge . Pretty looking area . . and there's a lot of really neat and square houses there too . Now . . over by the river (what's it's name?) is a small field with white roofs around it . It might be an athletic field . . . but it's not shaped too well . . . . it's on a back-bay with ocean access . . . . just wondering what that is . If I were to guess, I'd say it's a lot of RV Trailers and motor homes around some sort of dirt bike or ATV area . Here's the G-Earth co-ordinates: 566507 . 80 m E 5139951 . 03 m S Another question: Is the area around Akaroa a private or government reserve? I don't see any buildings . . . but it looks like pristine fishing area to me . |

Hmmmm . . maybe it's not an RV park but what we call a campground with cabin rentals . Is this basically a colder part of the country or more tropical? |
