| 781763 | 2009-06-12 10:38:00 | Hi everyone, Just found a nasty "function" of Vista . Currently I have a music player program called TTPlayer, and it is good, except when I plug in my MP3 (Safely Remove Hardware recognises it as Rockchip, but it was really a flash drive to me as it's screen is cracked :crying ) . When I plug it in, it uses two drive labels (or whatever you call it): one for the inbuilt flash memory, and the other one for the inbuilt MiniSD card reader (which I found plain useless) . After that, when I try to launch TTPlayer, it gives me an error message . (See attachment) I have posted a thread earlier on, about the same issue, but it appears that it is forgotten and ignored . But is this a glitch with the software, Windows, or some other things? Because when I plug in my phone (which also has an inbuilt memory and a MicroSD reader), it doesn't give me such problem . Any helps appreciated . |

| 781766 | 2009-06-12 11:18:00 | Is paintshop pro x2 installed? That error, according to one site has to do with corel file shell monitor..It looks like 2 files PSP installs can cause probs that one <-- and corel photo downloader.. if theyre in startup, delete their entries with ccleaner. Or kill their processes in task manager for now. It looks like these 2 files can also cause that error when you open a cd or dvd as well | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 781767 | 2009-06-12 11:57:00 | Is Vista all upto date with service packs and fixes ?? According to Microsoft theres a fix for that problem in the service packs. Also can be a drive letter conflict - alter the drive letter As per here (www.zolved.com 013_with_p) -- Many others had the same problem, altering the drive letter fixed it. Notice the name on the Window - NO DISK |

| 781768 | 2009-06-12 22:54:00 | Thanks everyone . This is the situation update: 1) No, I don't have Paintshop Pro . In fact, I doubt whether I have anything called Corel on my computer . 2) My computer has Service Pack 1 installed . No thoughts on SP2, as it is too much of a strain for my dial up speed . . . . . . :( . 3) Yes, I tried changing the memory drive letter, but no, the error still persists . I guess it's the I: (MiniSD reader) that is giving a fight, but I can't seem to change that . |
