781546 2009-06-12 00:17:00 I have a Harman Kardon Amp HK 3500 with a subwoofer output that according to the instruction manual can connect to quote:
"This output may be used for sound surround equipment or any external component requiring a line level input..."
Question would my ga ep45t-ud3lr motherboard support it? I have logitec X504 speakers (5.1 system) connected, in theory it should work but I am not taking any chances...
Subwoofer output has a variable output - from mininum to max....any sound advice?
Many thanks!

781547 2009-06-12 02:39:00 I suspect that you might not get full-range audio from a sub-woofer output because it is more than likely severely bandwidth-limited, which means that any audio transfer or recording might sound like you had your head in a bucket of wet cement.

You could try it, you can't do any harm at audio-signal levels, just don't wind up the wick or you could get severe distortion.

Cheers
