| 781463 | 2009-06-11 12:23:00 | Hi guys, I have a Dell 1520 and I downloaded Vista Service Pack 2. Unfortunately it is stuck at Step 3 of 3 (0% complete) and keeps rebooting. I have tried F8 with all options (last known configuration, safe mode, etc) but nothing works. What can I do without having to re-install Vista and loosing all my work (which would be horrible as my backups are old)? Thank you! |

If you have a spare Vista Cd, boot from it and at the install screen select repair your computer. Then open system restore from there. Or, download this VRC: neosmart.net Then burn image file to CD and boot from it. Blam |
