| 781478 | 2009-06-11 11:42:00 | Loaded Win 7 RC (32 bit) on an old 'test' machine (P4 2.8 GHz , 1 GB RAM). The installation was a breeze - about 30 min to complete. It detected and installed all device drivers except the on-board NIC. Windows update has the said driver and I downloaded it could not complete the installation. I have to put in another PCI NIC though. It also detected my network printer and installed the driver without any problem. It looks great and seems runs smoother than XP. In general, I think it's much better than Vista. |
