Mississippi (US State) is still the single heaviest and obese place on the planet . . but the population isn't large enough to sway the numbers . I guess it's Big Macs and Krispy Kremes that did it to youse guys . . . er . . . the UK "youse guys" that is . |

We have faith in youse Yanks - you'll manage to wrestle that dubious title back. You are so right, chicken one, who cares? But "easy to lose weight"? I don't think that it is as easy as you say. It's not so much what you put it your mouth - it's the attitude concerning what you put in your mouth. First you need to realise that you are fat, then you need to want to change your attitude about your weight. It is only something that the individual can do for themselves - they have to REALLY want to loose weight. No amount of derision can change their minds unless they want to. Giving up fat food is similar to giving up smoking. It's not difficult. To quote Spike Milligan, "It's all in the mind, you know." |

I dont know if there is a latin type name for it like Anglophile is for liking English people (Me) I dont recall seeing any fat people in pictures of japanese POWS or jews in German work camps. So its a case of food in versus work out Ok its a free world if they are happy and fat no probs, good luck to them but they give me the shivers. If they are fat and not happy because they are fat then controlling food intake will help. At Survival School in NZDF they told us you can live for a month without any food if you dont do much movement. C1 |
