626658 2008-01-02 08:12:00 I'm currently writing a webmail client, and am looking for some ideas on what people want/like in a webmail client.

What kinds of features / behaviors etc do you want in a webmail client? Are there any bells or whistles you wish you had, but find your webmail sadly lacking? What do you like about your existing client? What do you hate? How important are extra features that aren't strictly mail-related (calendar etc.)?

Feel free to suggest things from desktop clients too, it's all relevant info.

Cheers,
Bletch

626662 2008-01-02 09:07:00 Speed. The only time I use a webmail client is when I'm not sitting at my own PC or laptop. So it's usually a hit-and-run affair on a borrowed PC, possibly currently in use by someone else... johcar (6283)
