625962 2007-12-30 19:45:00 A friend has bought a boat complete with the above fish finder. It is stuck in demonstration mode and he can't figure out to use it.

Does anyone have a manual for this or know where to find one?

625963 2007-12-30 20:46:00 This guy (www.trademe.co.nz) is selling one on Trademe - says he has a manual...

He might be able to be sweet-talked into photocopying/scanning the relevant pages - worth a try anyway...

625964 2007-12-30 21:34:00 I'd found that one - but the auction has closed which makes it more complicated.

Did find a reference on an Australian fishing site and emailed the guy a couple of days ago. Haven't heard back so options are that he is on holiday, the 2 year old email address is no longer, or my email hit a spam trap. There was a brief set of instructions on how to get it out of simualation mode but didn't explain the rest of it.

I've been playing with all sorts of combinations of words in Google but haven't had any success.

The Japanese makers are on holiday according to their website so will have to wait a couple of weeks for that one.

Thought of Press F1

625965 2007-12-30 23:09:00 From the Main Menu display, press the SETUP button to enter System Set-up mode.
Press the soft key indicated below the NEXT on screen until your reach page5.
Use the Mid > key on the left side to turn the simulator OFF.
Press the SETUP key to exit the set-up mode.

625966 2008-01-21 10:03:00 As an update (and because press f1 comes out tops in Google) I now have a copy of the manual. The guy in Australia emailed it to me today. If anyone needs a copy - let me know. Mercury (1316)

625968 2008-06-23 23:11:00 No idea. Sourced the manual for a friend who hasn't quite got around to taking us out on the boat yet. Mercury (1316)
