| 625656 | 2007-12-29 06:36:00 | Ive been looking at a couple of items on E-Bay and they seem to require I use PayPal for payment. Knowing nothing about PayPal I thought you guys would be just the ticket to set me straight. Warts & All. :D |

| 625657 | 2007-12-29 06:55:00 | I have used PayPal for purchases in America about 6 or 7 times and have had no problems. It is really just like paying by Credit Card. Seems to be a popular and I understand very secure way of paying. Oldguy |

But I think it took about 3 days to set up, where you had to deposit a small amount, which is then returned. After purchases, you can check your statement on paypal - which is owned by ebay. Remember to factor in exchange rates, and your bank and credit card (e.g. Visa fees), typically around 3%. But items still worked out far cheaper than in NZ, particularly for mobile phone combo chargers/batteries, premium watches, car accessories, and wrist jewelry even without bidding - by using pay now with paypal. |
