782433 2009-06-15 04:44:00 I rang telecom before to see if they could help with my caller display not working on our uniden phone. All they could do was suggest to turn off my modem and check the caller display on the uniden and yes it worked. He then said the problem had been fixed but I said how when I had tried it again with the modem turned back on and after his second ringing me back to try it didn't work. My daughter has a phone in her bedroom and it didn't work with the caller display when the modem was turned off, which was correct according to the person on the other end. When I asked him what the fault was he said it has to be one of the four filters I have or the modem is not set up properly. So I asked him how I am going to go about it, his only suggestion was I experimented by changing the filters around which I have tried but all is a bit vague as to where the faulty filter is or connected to. Any suggestions as how I can take care of this problem? We would use the other phone for caller display but it does not show the time or day as to when the call was made. karbren (14078)
782434 2009-06-15 05:19:00 I have swapped the filters again and now the caller display works with the uniden but I am still unsure as which filter is faulty. Will have to wait and see I suppose. karbren (14078)

We actually had the same problem and it turned out that the master telephone socket needed replacing. The wires weren't very secure in it.
